Your responsibilities:
- Flight Test Preparation: Plan and coordinate flight test activities, including defining test objectives, preparing test plans, and ensuring all necessary resources are available.
- Data Acquisition and Analysis: Oversee the installation and calibration of flight test instrumentation (FTI), collect data during flight tests, and analyze the results to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Flight Test Execution: Participate in flight tests, working closely with test pilots and other team members to conduct tests, monitor performance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on test data, documenting findings, and providing recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure that test objectives align with overall project goals and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all flight test activities comply with relevant aviation regulations and internal safety standards.
Your profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in flight testing, flight test instrumentation, or a similar role within the aerospace industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of flight test procedures, data acquisition systems, and analysis tools. Proficiency with relevant software and tools used in flight test engineering.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently.
