Salary: approx. €80.500 – €120.00 gross per annum

Your tasks:

  • Develop and evolve electrical and avionics system architectures for aircraft applications
  • Take technical responsibility for the integration and configuration of avionics, cockpit and electrical systems at aircraft level
  • Define, coordinate and maintain system, interface and electrical requirements throughout the development lifecycle
  • Manage interfaces between avionics equipment, electrical systems, cockpit functions and aircraft bus systems
  • Create and maintain system specifications, interface definitions, wiring documentation and certification-related engineering documents
  • Provide technical support during prototype build, aircraft integration, production and troubleshooting activities
  • Define and support system verification, integration and test activities from component to aircraft level
  • Coordinate technical topics with internal engineering teams, production, certification functions, suppliers and external partners

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in avionics and/or electrical systems engineering within the aerospace sector
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and avionics architectures, cockpit systems, electrical power systems and aircraft bus systems
  • Solid experience in requirements engineering, system interfaces and aircraft-level system integration
  • Familiarity with aerospace development and certification processes; experience within EASA Part 21 and/or Part 145 environments is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of technical documentation, verification, testing and certification-related engineering activities
  • Excellent English skills (C1); German language skills are an advantage
  • Due to the security-sensitive nature of the position, citizenship of an EU or NATO member state and residence in Germany are required. Applications that do not meet these requirements cannot be considered.
