Your tasks:
- Analysis and validation of technical requirements and coordination of open issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning the system architecture and integration of avionics solutions at aircraft level.
- Collaborating on the design, integration and certification of modern communication and network systems.
- Providing technical support for the planning and approval of radio installations.
- Integration and further development of crew and passenger systems.
- Collaboration in the development of display, alert and electronic checklist systems.
- Integration of data recording and transmission systems into the overall system architecture.
- Preparation and approval of Part 21 documentation and technical specifications.
- Collaboration with suppliers and support with qualification, ground and flight tests.
Your profile:
- Completed degree (master’s/diploma) in aerospace engineering or a comparable technical field.
- Many years of experience in the development, integration and certification of avionics systems at aircraft level.
- In-depth knowledge of avionics systems in accordance with relevant ATA chapters (including 23, 31, 45, 46).
- Proven expertise in the integration of modern communication systems (VHF, HF, digital data links, satellite-based communication, wireless onboard networks).
- Participation in at least one new aircraft development programme in civil aviation.
- Confident handling of aviation-specific development and certification processes (EASA Part 21J, CS-25/FAR 25).
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work and strong problem-solving skills.
- Language skills: English at least C1, German at least B1 desirable.
