Your tasks:

  • Analysis and validation of technical requirements and coordination of open issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Planning the system architecture and integration of avionics solutions at aircraft level.
  • Collaborating on the design, integration and certification of modern communication and network systems.
  • Providing technical support for the planning and approval of radio installations.
  • Integration and further development of crew and passenger systems.
  • Collaboration in the development of display, alert and electronic checklist systems.
  • Integration of data recording and transmission systems into the overall system architecture.
  • Preparation and approval of Part 21 documentation and technical specifications.
  • Collaboration with suppliers and support with qualification, ground and flight tests.

 

Your profile:

  • Completed degree (master’s/diploma) in aerospace engineering or a comparable technical field.
  • Many years of experience in the development, integration and certification of avionics systems at aircraft level.
  • In-depth knowledge of avionics systems in accordance with relevant ATA chapters (including 23, 31, 45, 46).
  • Proven expertise in the integration of modern communication systems (VHF, HF, digital data links, satellite-based communication, wireless onboard networks).
  • Participation in at least one new aircraft development programme in civil aviation.
  • Confident handling of aviation-specific development and certification processes (EASA Part 21J, CS-25/FAR 25).
  • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Language skills: English at least C1, German at least B1 desirable.
